Last month, Godlands performed along with a Dubstep artist Riot Ten at Circus Tokyo and showed her creativity and passion through her Trap music. It was her first time performing in front of a Japanese crowd and must have been a unique experience. Read more about her experience in Tokyo, Japan.

Q1. How was your performance in Japan?

I loved it! Japan goes hard! So much energy and love in the crowd, it was one of my favourite gigs to date.

Q2. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

Japan is incredible, I honestly had the most amazing time. Everybody is so lovely and the food is delicious.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Lambo - Quix & Matroda  - I love the wubs in this song.

RL Grime - I wanna know (Twerl Remix) - This song always gets the crowd jumping.

Q4. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

I'm really focused on pushing out music and getting some great new tunes rolling. I've got a load of new ideas in the works, plus some sounds you may not have expected from me, too ;) I've also got some exciting shows coming up as part of my Pleasures Tour - such as Groovin' The Moo and Listen Out. It's been a great year for shows! I'm also debuting new visuals at the moment which I hope gives the crowd a taste of my aesthetic - I;m working on creating an all-round awesome visual and sonic experience!

Q5. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I love you! Thank you for your constant support. I hope to see you again soon :)
