Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it. 

The track started with the vocal which is not normally how I work with making records. Eskayi wrote the super dope vocal and sent it to me. I then spent ages trying to come up with something that was equally as catchy. So I came up with the flute sample then the tech house baseline was added next. I wanted to fuse a few different genres together and I think the result is super unique. 

Q2. How is this track special compare to other tracks you’ve released throughout the career?

I think this one is special because I normally release either a BANGER/WEAPON or a radio friendly track.. And I think this one is a bit of a the best of both those worlds mixed together. I really wanted to make a track that you can jam to at home, in the club, on the bus, at work, in the gym… etc etc. You get the point. :D

Q4. What do you feel has been your biggest achievement? 

The best is yet to come!! But I’d have to say Playing at Tomorrowland in 2018 was pretty amazing. Oh and releasing my Collab with Armin Van Buuren, ‘The Race’. It doesn’t get much bigger than that. 

Q5. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I’ve visited Japan twice now (Osaka, Tokyo & Saporro). Both trips were amazing. I loved the food but even more so, the people were sooo friendly and courteous, and the fans in the clubs were so welcoming! I can’t wait to go back.
