Q1. Please talk to us about your release "Feel My Needs" and the inspiration behind it.

I went into the studio with an idea to make a 90’s sounding piano house track. I guess the inspiration came from listening to N-Joi and tracks like over the 2017 Christmas period. I then went into the studio around March time and came up with the idea. I wanted to do a “feel good” summer track and I think I achieved that.

Q2. How is this track special compared to other tracks you’ve released throughout the career?

This track holds a special place in my heart as I grew up on listening to old school house especially in the 90’s just coming off listening to “original” hardcore and drum & bass. I hope I’ve achieved putting my childhood memories and expressed these special music memories into this track.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

No particular artist but I’m always dropping a Dirtybird record in my sets.

Q4.What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Is there something within your expectation in Japan?

I love Japan!! I’m a massive Asian food fan so when in Japan I’m always eating sushi. The culture is amazing too.

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us for 2019?

I’m working on so much at the moment. The follow up to “ Feel My Needs” is finished and ready to go for March. I’m currently remixing the new Calvin Harris track with Rag & Bone, Meduza single and a few projects with Becky Hill. Im also in talks with MK.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

“I love you guys so much and can’t wait to revisit Japan and play for you guys”
