Q1. Please talk to us about your new Celebration Mix to ‘Let Me Think About It’ and the inspiration behind it.

Having released my new record with Ida Corr and Shaggy earlier this year – Firestarter we just couldn’t let the 10 year anniversary of Let Me Think About It go by unnoticed. It was quite a challenge for me when working on a polished up version though, I still love to original so much – which is kind of weird for me saying that about my own record haha, but it’s one of the few I still play out pretty regularly. In the end I’m very happy with the updated feel the Celebration Mix has to it, and now playing out both versions I have to say I’m kind of a sucker for the more beefed up feel of the new mix.

Q2. How was this year? What was the best experience of 2017?

That’s a difficult question, I’ve had a lot of very cool stuff going on this year, all over I think I’m most content musically, I’ve released a lot of records this year and I’m still feeling so inspired, going into 2018 I have such a bunch of projects laying that I can’t wait to drop and that’s just a great feeling.

Q3. What do you feel has been your biggest achievement in your career so far?

Wow. You’re really not letting me off the hook with easy questions here ;) I think I’ll go with my own show concept called GRAND | The Next Level In Dance. For me that whole project is about challenging myself to create new and exciting stuff – which I very much love – as well as giving back to my fans in creating a show that’s just an all over (the top) experience. We’ve had two editions thus far and right now I’m working very hard on a 3.0 show that will be tourable.

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

That’s really changing all the time… For Japan I would definitely say Cinematic as I know you share my love for that record! And as we’re celebrating….I’ll go with Let Me Think About It as second pick!

Q5. Since DJ Mag started to vote “Top 100 Clubs”, I want to ask your favorite club and the reasons why.

There are so many! I really can’t pick just one, usually the shows that are unexpected, where I don’t know what to expect upfront are really amazing, but in the end it’s all about the fans coming out and having a good time so it really depends per night as well. I love Yalta in Bulgaria, Greenvalley in Brasil if I’d had to name a few.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Hi everyone! You guys are the best! I had an amazing time with you this summer at Music Circus and I can’t wait to be back very soon!
