A highly recommended DJ/Producer chosen by Infectious PR was this up and coming artist Godlands. A DJ/Producer is barely heard of by fans of dance music here in Japan but he is heavily active in his origin, Australia and is creating a buzz with his originality. Get to know about Godlands and her up and coming schedules touring the world. 

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

I really wanted to make something that banged in the club as well as at a festival. I always grab inspiration from various artists whenever I make music. I like to listen for particular techniques in a lot of different of productions and try and apply that to my own.

Q2. Which other DJs or producers are inspiring you right now?

I’m really digging Luude, Oriental Cravings, TWERL, BAD RAPPER and What So Not. They all have unique sounds and styles and their music ALWAYS goes off at the club. 

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

Godlands - Hit Em Like This, well I like it ;)

Babylon (TWERL & BADRAPPER Remix) - Ekali. Absolute fire track, it is a must play in my sets recently

Q4. What do you have coming up in the future?

I have one more release til the end of the year as well as playing at FLUX Festival which will be alongside Deadmau5, What So Not as well as heaps more amazing artists which I’m looking forward to.

As a rookie, Godlands is making big steps into creating her own production to reach out to a bigger crowd not just in her origin Australia but going after the world. She is already playing in festivals like FLUX as mentioned above and she’s rapidly growing to be another banging female DJ/Producer in the scene. There is only hope for the youngster and we hope to see more and more from her. Stay tuned to Godlands!
