Not to mention that his release with Hardwell “Are You Ready” is one of his hit tracks which helped him rise up into the scene and produce more exciting music to his fans. Bass jackers and Moti are also some of the talents that show great respect in what Joe Ghost has been creating. He has exciting some news to share so let’s hear what the talent has to offer to his fans world wide.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

I actually don't think my followers saw this coming, which is the part that excites me most! With 'Believe in You,' I started making the kind of music that I'd want to listen to. Yes, I'm a producer, but I'm first and foremost a music fan. I felt as though I'd put myself into a conceptual box that only had enough room for one genre. I've stepped out of that box.

Q2. How was your summer?

I had a great summer! I spent a lot of time in the studio working on my new album!

Q3. Which other DJs or producers are inspiring you right now?

Right now, I'm really inspired by the sounds of San Holo, Kayzo, and W&W. All three of them continue to reach new heights and produce incredible diverse music.

I have to give a personal shout-out to a couple musicians that have supported and continue to support my music; Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Hardwell, MAKJ, Bassjackers, Blasterjaxx, and MOTi.

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

Absolutely! My first choice is 'On The Floor Like,' my collaboration with Bassjackers and MOTi. The crowd always goes wild when I perform this song live!

My second choice is 'Chakra,' a collaboration between W&W and Vini Vici. I feel as though the psy-trance sound in this track is pushing the boundaries of the genre while exposing it to a global audience.

Q5. What do you have coming up in the future?

Over the next few months, I'm spending some extra time in the recording studio to finish my album. I'm also planning tour dates across the whole world for next year - perhaps Japan!

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Japan certainly holds a special place in my heart. I grew up watching Power Rangers on television, and it introduced me to the Super Sentai series at a very young age.  While my experience with Japan over the years may have been limited, I admire many things from your country. So much amazing art comes from Japan, and I find that North American electronic music producers tend to emulate and take inspiration from much of that creativity. I can't wait to arrive and capture a Farfetch'd in Pokémon Go!

Since entering the dance music scene as a DJ/Producer from Canada, Joe Ghost continues to express originality through his music. The hit track “CRANK” recorded No.4 on Beatport and was supported by many top artists like Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sander van Doorn, Quinitino,, bassjackers, NERVO, Chuckie, Swanky Tunes and the list goes on…Stay tuned to talent and he will soon be releasing his album as well as his touring dates next year.
