Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney go by the name of ANOTR and since their release of “Strobe” from Defected Records, they have started to get recognised. They have just released another exciting track and they want to share the experience behind the production scene.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

“Love Can Do” is the fourth release on our own label No Art. It’s one of those tracks that we’re really proud of. Compared to our other release this one is a bit more melodic & Vibey but still bangs out every set.

Q2. How has your summer been so far?

It has been amazing actually, we’ve been doing so many gigs all over the world. We always look out to the summer season with all the festivals and cool club gigs; Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland and Ants to name a few. Next to that we’ve got our first Australia tour planned in September/October and then it’s time for ADE already.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

2000andOne – Spanish Fly: when we first started listening to house music this was one of those tracks that you would listen to over and over. Now we’re almost playing it every set and it goes off every time.

Hector Couto – Nasty is Tasty: This always goes off and hector couto is just a legend, really really good producer.

Q4. Are there any artists in particular you would love to collab with this year?

Green Velvet, his voice/unexpected lyrics have always inspired us to do something alike. Working with him would be really dope.

Q5. What do you have coming up in the future?

We have a lot of releases coming up, almost releasing on a monthly basis. Next tot that wegot our Australia tour and so many gigs we’re looking forward to.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Japan! We’ve heard so many good things about the Japanese undergroundnscene and would love to show the ANOTR sound as soon as possible. See you in the (near) future.

ANOTR have started career from Amsterdam and now they have grown to be DJ/Producers playing all over the world. What’s surprising is that they are only 21 years of age and have a lot to look forward in their career. Check in to their new release “Love Can Do” and they will be coming up with more releases very soon.
