Let's hear about the upcoming DJ/Producer and his upcoming schedules.

Q1. Congratulations on your "Hold On To Love" release. Can you tell us more about it?

Thank you so much! This song has been in the works for quite a while. I started it as a slower track, back in January or February of this year and Enhanced Music loved it, but it needed a vocal. Other projects ended up taking more focus at the time, so this one took a back seat. After working with Laci Kay on “Long Way Home," my collab with Jay Bombay, we reached out to her manager to see if she might be interested in working on anything else in the future. Gabi sent us the a demo vocal for "Hold On To Love" and it fit perfectly with the track I mentioned earlier!

What’s more is the lyrics really meant something to me. It’s about love of course, but it’s also about believing in something and holding on to that belief when things get tough in your life. The song says that your beliefs will help you through the hard times in your life. That really resonated with me, as it’s true of my earlier life. So I put the song together, and personally, I think it’s a real work of art.

Q2. How has been your Summer so far?

It’s been fantastic, thank you for asking! My wife, Delilah, and I just got back from Italy. We vacationed there with Dave Reed from Tritonal and his wife Leah. We toured Tuscany, and a few big cities and had lots of pasta, pizza and wine! This was the fourth time Delilah and I have been to Italy. We’re thinking of moving there some time later in our lives for a year or two, in order to experience that lifestyle.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 of your favourite dance artists at the moment?

Well of course there is Tritonal. They’ve been doing some really innovative stuff with their sound lately. Particularly their latest track, Wild Kind. It’s unlike anything I’ve heard from them before. Another one, I’d have to say, is Yellow Claw. Their album Los Amsterdam is amazing. I really like how they combine melodic elements with their harder, raw sounds.

Q4. Are there any artists in particular you would love to collab with this year?

I’d really like to work with R3hab. He’s been doing some incredible things in the future bass and trap game. A dream collab though, would be to work with PSY. He probably doesn’t even know who I am, but I think it would be a lot of fun to do a track with him!

Q5. Which track would be your favourite from your work and what inspired you to produce that track?

My own favorite track would probably have to be Make It So Good. It was such a joy working on that one. It came together super fast and was inspired by just being happy. I was invited to go on tour with Tritonal on their album tour, which put me in a really good mood, and so I started writing the song, and well, the rest is history!

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Hey guys, thank you so much for supporting my music. I saw that "Long Way Home” made it all the way up to number 12 on the Top Dance Music Chart on iTunes in Japan. I wanted to let you know that I really appreciate everyone who has purchased or streamed my music. I’d love to come play some shows for you guys as well, so hopefully we can make that happen some time soon! In the meantime, check out my new track Hold On To Love featuring Laci Kay! Have a great day!
