Ruben de Ronde, another individual in the scene who tagged along travelling the world with Armin van Buuren’s ASOT Tour and made the world go insane has recently released “Togetherr” along with Rodg. We’ve interviewed Rodg about the track as well so let’s hear the story from Ruben de Ronde this time and how they collaborated producing the track.

Q1. Congratulations on your "Togetherr" release. Can you tell us more about it?

It was an absolute blast to work with Rogier (Rodg) on this album! We set ourselves a mega challenge to create this album in such a short time frame, but we succeeded!

The title is TogetheRR (with double R, one for Rodg and one for Ruben), because we worked hard on this with the two of us, and we feel we have a certain synergy. A typical 1+1=10 story!

Q2. How did you decide to work with Rodg and how was it?

We have worked before in the past, on some projects just for fun, but for this particular gig (A State of Trance, Mainstage in Utrecht), we wanted to bring something big to the table. When we decided to do a back2back set on there, we wanted to leave an impression!

Q3. How is your 2017 so far?

2017 has been my most succesful year to date. So far a played at EDC in Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, Ultra Music festival in Miami and several big clubs around the World, AND I have released TWO studio albums. My solo album My Story and now TogetheRR with Rodg!

Q4. What are your plans for the Summer?

Throughout the summer I will be playing my residency at Hii in Ibiza, and have big gigs at some of the biggest European festivals (including back2back sets with Rodg at Tomorrowland and Ultra Europe).

My schedule is pretty much packed, so the summer is all about touring!

Q5. Can you pick 1 or 2 of your favourite dance artists at the moment?

Hmm thats a hard question! If I look at my sets I would say Estiva and Rodg.

Q6. Are there any artists in particular you would love to collab with this year?

On TogetheRR I have worked with a bunch of artists that I wanted to work forever, so I am not to sure! Let’s see where life takes us :)

Q7. Which track would be your favourite from your work and what inspired you to produce that track?

I have to stay vague here, and say that it is one of the tunes that I have created for Hardwell’s United We Are tour! It is, and will, be unreleased forever, because I created it for his tour haha.

Q8. Do you have any cool production tips you can share for aspiring producers looking to improve their skills?

Work hard, and when you think you are working hard, work even harder! If you are stuck with something, try to do something else, and keep on educating yourself.

Q9. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I miss you guys! It has been a couple of years already since I had the pleasure to play in your country. So I hope to be back soon! どうもありがとう!!!!

Ruben de Ronde continues to evolve and produce the next upcoming movement in the scene. There is no surprise here that he is considered as one of the DJ/Producers who has full support from one of the top labels in the scene, Armada Music. Stay tuned to his new album with Rodg “Togetherr” and we hope to see him in Japan again very soon.
