Bobby Love, a new comer youngster based in Toronto, Canada has made a great start by remixing MiC Lowry’s “Oh Lord”, Fjord’s “I Get It Now”, Vanrip’s “Music Sounds Better With You” which was supported by Steve Aoki and David Guetta’s radio show before. Bobby Love produces an original blend of G-House and Deep House only he can create and is bringing a different flow in the scene as a youngster. Let’s hear about his new release and his routines when it comes to production.

Q1. We heard your new single "Still" ft. Ben Stevenson. Can you tell us a bit about it and about the collaboration with Ben?

This is the first time I've worked directly with a vocalist as far as writing and recording goes. I come from a background of sampling, so this was completely new territory for me. Partially because of that I decided to try something new and make something different. I don't really know what to call it's genre, but I like that about it. Thanks to Ben, it was a very easy process. He's an incredible artist and amazingly talented musician, so everything ran really smoothly while working with him!

Q2. How is your 2017 so far?

2017 has been awesome! I've been super busy locked in the studio working on a ton of new music that I can't wait to share with everyone!

Q3. What are your plans for the summer season?

Pretty much the same as they've been for the past few months. Prepping all of these new releases and continue making more new music. As well as some exciting remixes that I'm super stoked to announce!

Q4. Where do you get the inspiration from when producing music?

I find inspiration in all aspects of my life, could be a sound I hear while walking around in the city, a song I hear while out in a bar/club, or even an emotion I'm feeling as a result of everyday life. However, most notably, movies always manage to inspire me musically. Good films create an emotion or feeling inside that always translates well through my music. I like to imagine different scenes where my music could be applied, or create a song that would fit well with a film I just watched. Hopefully other people can hear that too and it's not just me haha!

Q5. Who or what influenced you musically and why?

The person who has had the biggest influence on me musically has to be my grandmother. She is the reason I started playing piano, and has continually been supportive of everything I do musically, I wouldn't be anywhere today without her! As for the what, I'm mostly influenced by other music or artists! I love finding people who are pushing the boundaries or creating stuff that might be weird or obscure. I believe art should be progressive and anyone that is doing that with their art has an influence on me.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Thanks for reading, listening, and caring about my music! Domo Arigato! I love you all!
