Q1. We heard your new track “Pull Me From The Waves ft. Nisha”. Can you tell us a bit about it?

Pull Me From The Waves is my 4th single. I was hanging out at Nisha’s house and she played me a rough draft of the song, right away I felt it was something special. So we did some rewriting and polishing and in the end it all came together.

Q2. How is your 2017 so far?

2017 is off to a great start. I have lots of new music and collaborations in the works and playing my first festival Electric Forest and Tomorrowland for the first time.

Q3. What do you personally consider to be the most important moments in your artistic career?
I think one of the most impactful moments was hearing my song on the radio for the first time. Also playing my first show ever at the Hollywood Bowl with Kygo was a massive highlight, too hard to say which one I loved more.

Q4. Which track would be your favourite from your work and what inspired you to produce that track?

It’s hard to just pick one but I loved working on my first single Let Me Down Slow. It’s a very personal song for me and the production set the tone for the rest of the AFSHeeN project.

Q5. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

Royksopp - Sordid Affair (Maceo Plex Remix) and my mashup/edit of N'to - Note Blanche Vs How Deep Is Your Love. I love the moodiness and the energy of both records.

Q6. What would Japanese fans be surprised to learn about you?

On my last trip to Tokyo I miiiiiight have fallen in love with Funassyi.

Q7. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Japan is one of my favorite places in the world, especially Tokyo! I can’t wait to play for you guys soon!
