Hasse de Moor, a new comer DJ/Producer signed to one of the most influential record label Spinnin’ Records and is said to be one of their rising stars from Holland. We last interviewed him for his first single “WORK” and mentioned about the story behind his work and effort to be standing at his position then. Interestingly, he talked about his new release to us again, which took him quite some time to polish and get to the state where he can release it to the world.
Q1. We heard you will be releasing your new single ‘Tonight’ ft. Mike Jay on April 21. Can you tell us a bit about it?
“Tonight” is a track that was made almost 2 years ago! I actually went to LA to re-record en re-write the lyrics with Mike Jay! I’ve put a lot of effort and work into this track so I’m very happy to It’s gonna be seeing the light of day!
Q2. How is your 2017 so far?
So far 2017 has been great! Just been building on a lot of new projects, co-productions, collabs and solo projects! Also been doing some shows over Europe! Still a lot to come this year.
Q3. What’s your summer plan?
I’ve got some festival bookings this summer, so I’m very hyped for these. Also just gonna keep releasing new tracks and making stuff! And get drunk!
Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?
Lektrique & aUtOdiDakT - Alpha Dogs. I love this track so much, so energy packed and goes off every time!
Q5. What would Japanese fans be surprised to learn about you?
That I love Sushi and I speak fluent Japanese! JK, I do like Sushi though and I’m very interested in the Japanese fashion scene and the culture.
Q6. Do you have anything you want to say in particular or want to promote?
Like you already mentioned, my new song “Tonight” comes out april 21st! Hope you guys like it!

It has been almost a year since Hasse de Moor debuted and entered into this industry. Slowly but surely he has been releasing tracks after tracks and started to show his presence and influence in the scene, gaining more fans every day. He also left a comment for all readers of DJ MAG JAPAN saying “I will become one of those stars one day so I hope Japanese fans and other Asian fans follow me and stay tuned”. He is only looking up and moving forward, stepping up in his career and we hope to see him perform in front of Japanese crowds one day.
