Since we last did an interview with Watermät, he has continued to release exciting tracks and performances all around the world. Watermät was born and raised in Paris and begun piano and guitar from a young age and eventually leading him to find himself evolving in the music world. Since entering the dance music scene, he as become one of the DJ/Producers representing his home country France. He wanted to reach to his Japanese fans and talk about his new release “Won’t Stop” and let’s hear about his future schedule as well.

Q1. Congratulations on your "Won’t Stop" release. Can you tell us more about it?

It’s a track a bit more house than my last releases. I used flutes and strings to bring an organic feeling in the music. Kelli Leigh wrote the vocals. The track ends up with kind of a summer vibe.

Q2. How is your 2017 so far? What’s your summer plan?

I already have lots of music ready for this year, so I’m really excited. This summer I will play lots of festivals, like Tomorrowland or Electric Forest in the US. I will also tour a lot in Europe and Ibiza.

Q3. Which track would be your favourite from your work and what inspired you to produce that track?

It’s hard to say which one is my favorite , but I do like 'Empire' a lot. I was listening to old records and I found a sample from Dionne Warwick. Then I chopped it up a bit and played a horn melody over it, and the track was there.

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your sets and why?

Arle - 'Close To You (Icarus remix)'. I really love it, it’s deep but energetic.

Tchami - 'Adieu'. This track has such a great vibe, I really like to open my sets with it.

Q5. Do you have anything you want to say in particular or want to promote?

I hope you guys will enjoy my new track 'Won’t Stop', and you can check my socials to stay updated regarding my tracks , my monthly radio show and my gigs.
