Q1. Today you released your new track “Love Somebody”. Where did the initial inspiration come from?

Yes, very excited to have this out for everyone! This track was inspired by our constant struggle with relationships. The lyrics are meant to show how we sometimes aren't able to express our inner love for each other.

Q2. What was the production process like getting it to the final track we hear today?

I first created the melodies and initial song, after that it was an effort with our vocalist to create the perfect story for the track.

Q3. What do you personally consider to be the most important moment in your artistic career so far?

I have been in collaboration with so many artists and have worked with a lot of the people I was inspired by myself, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, EDX to name a few. But I think ultimately the most important moment is when I realized I wanted to create music with substance and not get caught up in the race of fame and putting out things for strategic purposes.

Q4. What does it mean to you to release on The Bearded Man? Why do you think the label is a good fit for you?

I love this label. It lets the artist take center stage with music that has much more feeling. The crew at Bearded Man and Armada have built a great formula to help artists flourish and gain exposure. It’s the perfect fit for me with the tracks I am releasing. This is my 3rd release with them, with more to come.

Q5. What other artists are you currently drawing inspiration from?
I am really loving the Magician, Aston Shuffle new stuff, EDX, Croatia Squad.

Q6. Any plans for 2017 that you can share with us?

I am really just fully concentrating on more and more releases. I want to keep putting out great music and I have a great follow up to this release scheduled for an April Release on The Bearded Man.

Q7. Going back a little, when did you decide to start producing music? and where do you get your inspiration from?

I actually began at a really early on, before this bubble, I have always gotten inspired from my hometown of NYC. The vast amounts of culture just seep out of the walls here. I am fortunate enough to be able to absorb a lot of it and relay it back into my music. NYC is an inspiring place, you learn a lot about people and their struggles, happiness, and inner drive. Those feelings all spark emotion in me that I can use in creating a nice soundtrack.

Q8. DJ MAG recently started a vote for the "Top 100 Clubs". Can you tell us a bit more about your favorite clubs and why?

Ah thats a great poll, without the clubs, where would we be able to release our selves. MY favorites to date I think are,
Central in NY, my home base, I own and operate it and host great DJ Friends all the time, EDX, Nora En Pure, Robbie Rivera to name a few. New City Gas in Montreal, I play Formula 1 weekend a lot and get to be a part of a huge city event, I have played with David Guetta, Nervo there. Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos, Just because dancing till sunrise wouldn't be done any other way then on a cliff in Mykonos.

Q9. What does DJ MAG mean to you as a DJ and producer?

I strongly believe it is a great way to expose artists and help tell their story. It’s great to see how much attention there is to the DJs. Having a magazine to represent us as DJ’s and producers gives a great outlet to share our journey.

Q10. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.
For everyone out there in Japan, Hello from NY! Hope you guys enjoy the release and thanks for the continued support and love.

Since his debut, Jus Jack has been continuously releasing tracks from the top labels in the scene, Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, Spinnin’ Records, Dim Mak, Enchance, Moda and now from Armada. Not only does he frequently has a gig at Pacha NY or Provocateur or Juliet but he also travels around the world for his international shows and hope there are going to be more exciting and interesting releases this year. We hope to see more from a talent born and raised in NYC in 2017.
