Q1. We heard you had a busy year last year with highlight tracks such as '8fifty' alongside Hardwell and shows at the likes of Tomorrowland and Ultra Miami. Could you tell us more about last year?

Yeah last year was a crazy year. I started with a bus tour with Hardwell & Kill the Buzz in North America & Canada. After that I played Ultra for the first time and Tomorrowland for the 3th time in a row. I did a lot of shows in Asia and released a bunch of songs on Revealed, so it was definitely a good year for me!

Q2. What is your resolution for 2017?

Developing my sound and trying to do some crossover stuff but also music for the dancefloor because we’re DJ’s and we need music for the clubs and festivals and if everybody produces pop music there’s no instrumental dance music for the party people anymore.

Q3. Where do you get the inspiration from when producing music?

Depends, sometimes on tour, sometimes being in a different city or area in my country. For example I travelled 2.5 hours up north in my country, hung out and made some music with my friends Jaz Von D & Magnificence just for fun and I got a lot of inspiration at that time. Just to be in a different city.

Q4. Who or what is the most musically influenced to you? If so, why is that?

Hardwell was always my biggest influence when I started making music, at that time he still is one of the most popular DJ’s and plays the best live sets in my opinion, but nowadays I really looking up to Calvin Harris and what he is doing radio music wise.

Q5. Since DJ Mag started to vote “Top 100 Clubs”, I want to ask your favorite club and the reasons.

Pff hard question, But I had amazing times in Ushuaia Ibiza last year.

Q6. What’s coming up next for you in the early 2017?

First a club record on Flamingo Records and after that in March a track on SONO music which is a label of Armada Music and that one is more a crossover track but you can still play it in your live sets. It’s a track with some deephousy influences.

Q7. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?

It’s good to have the support from DJ Mag. They’re a big magazine and of course people can vote for you and if you’re in the list that will build your career a bit or a lot more. So that is DJ mag to me and to be in the list would be great.

Q8. Do you have anything you want to say in particular or want to promote?

Q9. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.
