Q1. Tell us more about your new release “A Better Soul”. What about the first impressions?
We are very stoked from early reactions and supports. We already reached 50k streams on Spotify during the first weekend and we’ve been included in some of the most followed playlists such as Martin Garrix Show, Spotify NL, Spotify Germany and Spinnin’ Records. A Better Soul has already received a strong support from big artists like Martin Garrix, Max Vangeli, Dannic, Tomo Hirata and many more.
Q2. We hear some funky vibes in there. What are your main influences in your music?
We’re really attracted from 80s music and we always try to add a groovy and funky vibe to our tracks. We also love melodic stuff like vocals and nice chord progressions always looking for a radio friendly production.
Q3. Bout is a very fresh project, born less than one year ago. How do you guys met up?
Andrea is a classically trained pianist who got into the EDM scene since 2012 and Stefano has always been working to bass music stuff. We tried a collaboration last January 2016 and we came up with our first release winning the Spinnin’ Records TalentPool. From that moment on we have released our music on Flamingo Recordings, Big&Dirty Recordings and Turn It Up Muzik with the support of Don Diablo, Martin Garrix, Firebeatz, W&W, Ummet Ozcan, Dannic, Lucas & Steve, Merk & Kremont and many others.
Q4. What are your plans for the nearly future?
We have a big collaboration on the go, releasing early this year and many singles coming but we can’t reveal anything yet.
Q5. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?
DJ Mag has always been a big influencer magazine for us. Being included in the DJ Mag Top100 is for sure one of all artists’ dream and we can’t deny that, one day, we hope we could get there. DJ Mag is also the best way to have full overview of the EDM scene in these days.
Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.
Thanks for all the support you’re giving us everyday, we can’t wait to come there and party with you!
