Manse, is a young Swedish talent who receives support from top DJ/Producers like Hardwell and Nicky Romero. Born in 1992 and is one of the youngsters who look to spread their wings very soon. His emotional music gets the crowd going and his fans seems to be increasing rapidly. Let us share an exclusive interview with the new youngster, Manse.
Q1. Your new track “Time Of Our Lives” featuring Jantine just got released on Armada Trice. Can you tell us more about this new track? How did that track come about?
Thanks for having me! I am super happy with my first release of 2017 to be om Armada! The sound of 'Time Of Our Lives' is a little bit different from the usual Progressive House sound of Manse, I wanted to produce something more catchy and easy listenable that fits all ages from young to old... where this mix of deep house and progressive house came about and I am very satisfied :)
Q2. How did you come to work with Jantine? What about her do you think makes her so well suited for “Time Of Our Lives”?
I've actually known Jantine for couple of years already, and she has written several toplines on my tracks. I love the way she works, writes and sings (its something with her Dutch accent that makes her singing in english very uniqe and cool. But for this track I received the vocal from Jantine and I started making a track around the acapella she send me which is a different way to work, but also quite common!
Q3. Can we expect any more from you and Jantine in the near future?
We actually have more tracks, but we need to get them signed first so I cant promise anything yet :)
Q4. Looking back on 2016, what was your best experience that year? And what is your resolution for 2017?
2016 was an incredible year for me, my fan base grew so much, a lot of releases (14 releases in total), amazing China and Indonesia tour and other amazing festival gigs. And I made a lot of Manse music for 2017 and 2018 which was also a very successful year out of that perspective. For 2017 I made a pretty simple resolution; stay healthy and keep being creative (musical wise) with my Manse project.
Q5. What was it like watching Armin van Buuren play your remix to ‘Freefall’ at some of the biggest festivals and mainstages in the world?
To hear the legendary Armin Van Buuren support a track you made is just incredible!! Its a surreal feeling to see clips where he spends all his fireworks while playing my remix for him and also to see all the reactions from the fans and Armin fans! I very special moment was when he played at a huge festival in my hometown Stockholm, Sweden and where he actually did a shoutout to me while I was in the crowd with my friends, unreal! :)
Q6. You also did an Asia tour a while ago. What’s your favorite memory from this tour and why?
I've been to Asia quite some times already with the Asia tours, and there are so many amazing memories... the culture, the food, the fans and loving people, the promoters... the list can be long, but I absolutely love being in Asia to play because its a very special place to be performing since the crowd are so dedicated to the whole EDM community which makes each performances unique and amazing!
Q7. What does 2017 hold in store for you?
A LOT of Manse music of different sounds, both Progressive House but also more experimental! I hope we can schedule in an album this year with more experimental Manse music which I am very happy with. AND of course a lot of interesting gigs that we are planning as we speak! :)
Q8. What does DJ MAG mean to you as a DJ and producer?
For me it means a community that shows appreciation to the hard working artists where DJ mag helps you get exposure in a already very established business, and also the DJ mag top 100 really helps you to see where you are in level with your artist career which is amazing. I am hoping to do more work with you guys for 2017 and 2018!
Q9. DJ MAG just started a vote for the "Top 100 Clubs", can you tell us a bit about your favorite clubs and why?
I've been to so many incredible clubs, but to name a few:
Club Octagon - Amazing club with an amazing soundsystem and crowd, always super energetic vibe when you play there which plays a big factor for me!
Space Club in Chengdu - Same with Club Octagon, but another + factor here is their visuals and the venue... just incredible Zouk in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore - Incredible venues here as well, also brings a lot of fans of EDM music which brings a magical feeling to your performances + great people working behind the scenes there as well!
Grammy in Foshan - Incredible vibe here as well, INSANE stage setup where you get lifted up from underground, definitely also deserves a TOP 100 spot.

Since 2012, Manse has officially started his career as a DJ/Producer and since then, he’s expanding his territory rapidly.
