CMC$ is another figure in the scene that really kicked off especially in The Netherlands where they’re placed and have released exciting tracks from big labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Mad Decent, Barong Family, Mixmash Records and many more. His first single “Wake Up Call” was ranked 4th in the iTunes chart and people started to recognise his brand. He recorded over one million listeners on YouTube and Soundcloud and is definitely climbing up the scene with his skill and performance. Check below the exclusive interview with him about his updates.
Q1. We heard your new track “Keys” is stored on 6th of January. Can you tell us more about your new track?
We've tried to tell a story and let the music speak for itself. It's just another love song, with the CMC$ twist on it!
Q2. How was last year? What is your resolution for 2017?
Last year was an amazing year for me. Played shows in Ushuaia ibiza and the Rai Amsterdam with my bro Martin Garrix, released my collab with DVBBS, did a studio session with Conor Maynard and worked on so much new music all around the globe! In 2017 I'll continue releasing a lot of songs and play great shows.
Q3. How do you get the inspiration from when producing music?
I only make music when I got inspiration, most of the time I get inspiration from listening to the radio, jazz and hiphop.
Q4. Who or what is the most musically influenced to you? If so, why is that?
I don't really have a musical influence to be honest.. I listen to a lot of different kind of genres and try to put those different genres in my tracks as well.
Q5. Since DJ Mag started to vote “Top 100 Clubs”, I want to ask your favorite club and the reasons.

Q6. What’s coming up next for you in the early 2017?
I really can't wait to release my song with Conor Maynard! It's one of my favorite tracks I ever made.
Q7. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?
DJ Mag is a great magazine and platform for DJ & Producers, especially the DJMAG Top100 is a great manor to give the DJ the attention they deserve.
