TERI MIKO, another female Ukrainian DJ/Producer in the scene continues to strike the fans with her extraordinary skills and talent. Since her victory at Vestax scratch competition, she has spread her wings wide open receiving offers after offers from all around the world. Check out below our exclusive interview with TERI MIKO on her updates.

Q1. We heard your new track “Fukuyo” is stored on 23rd of December. Can you tell us more about your new track?

Fukuyo is a very experimental sound for me, and i started this just for fun but then i realise that it has power in it and i finished it to prove myself that i can create something different. And i hope this also proves that an innocent looking girl like me has a heavy and dark side and that i can play with big boys too.

Q2. How was this year? What was the best experience of 2016?

A lot has been happening this year, i am constantly touring throughout plus i had a lot of studio work wish i could have more studio hours. But because of my tours i have shared the console with bass giants like, Dyro, Marshmello, Slander and NGHTMRE and all of them have been great inspiration for me.

Q3. How do you get the inspiration from when producing music?

Touring gives me the real inspiration, as during tours i meet other artists, share ideas with them. And i am constantly meeting artists from different fields which gives me different ideas for my work. And of course i have the best team i work with, these guys are always pushing my limits.

Q4. Who or what is the most musically influenced to you? If so, why is that?

This is a very easy question for me to answer, as the person i look up to for many many years has been constant, and it's Skrillex. Why Skrillex? Cuz i find him the most versatile at the same time loyal to bass music artist. And the concept of Owsla and Nest Hq is the most unique one. What ever he touches is gold.

Q5. What do you personally consider to be the most important moments in your artistic career?

I guess for each and every producer the most important moment is when your music gets recognised and appreciated. For me it came from Dyro. This year i was opening for him and i played my track which caught Dyro's attention and got me signed with Wolv. I am so grateful to Jordy (Dyro) for one of the most important moment in my artistic career.

Q6. Since DJ Mag started to vote “Top 100 Clubs”, I want to ask your favorite club and the reasons.

I love Boothaus in Cologne. Cuz it has one of the best Trap & bass vibes.

Q7. Do you have any specific plans for 2017? Any New Year resolutions?

Yes i have  alot of plans for 2017. As next year is a game changer for me, cuz finally i am ready to show myself not only as a dj but the producer side of me. So you will be hearing a lot of kickass originals from me in 2017.

Q8. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?
DJ Mag is a huge platform for all of us, and by all of us i mean not only artists but fans as well. As DJ Mag connects artists to their followers. Cuz where else can you find out more about your favorite artist than DJ Mag. Dj Mag is a global music wikipedia.
