A newcomer, Dastic is currently under the spotlight for his young talent and signed a contract with the world’s top label, Spinnin’ Records and also a contract with Music All Stars Management. Dastic being only 20 is now in a perfect position in the EDM scene with signed to Spinnin’ Records and Music All Stars with other top DJs such as VINAI or Quintino and many more. Himself born and raised in the land of EDM, released his first single “Go Home” and recorded 600,000 plays on Spotify, 430,000 on YouTube and he’s one of the DJs with a great start to his professional career. Q1. We heard your new track “Let Me Love you” is stored on 29th of October. Can you tell us more about your new track?
Sure! I heard “Let Me Love You” by Mario while I was driving in the car with a friend. I heard the song and came up with the idea to do a 2016 version of it. I drove to the studio and the idea for “Let Me Love You” was there in an hour.
Q2. Why did you decide to start DJ career?
At the age of 14 I saw some DJ’s playing at a couple local clubs, I really wanted to do the same as they did. I started playing at a few parties for underage people in my hometown, there I met Mike Williams and we started messing around with FL Studio, the rest is history.
Q3. How do you remember the moment of your first gig you ever played? What was it like and how did you feel?
I was very nervous, there were like 500 people in a club in my hometown. I was having such a fun time backstage that the moment I stepped on stage I was so excited. After 3 minutes I forgot about that I was nervous at all.
Q4. Who or what is the most musically influenced to you? If so, why is that?
Avicii was one of my biggest inspirations. I loved his melodies and chord progressions. Nowadays I'm a big fan of Lucas & Steve and Sam Feldt.
Q5. Where do you see yourself and your music in a few years from now?
I hope that I can tour around the world, make a lot of music and make a lot of people happy with my music. Hopefully I will be in de DJ Mag Top 100 someday, that is a big dream of mine.
Q6. How do you get the inspiration from when producing music?
Sometimes I wake up and I got an idea for chords or a melody. Other times I get a vocal from publishing or something and I get inspired by it.
Q7. What is DJ Mag to you as a DJ and producer?
I read a lot of articles on the website of DJ Mag, I learned a lot about some of the interviews with big DJ’s and producers. And I am always looking forward to the DJ Mag top 100 every year.

Dastic is one of the young talents out there and currently receives support from Top DJs such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Dillion Francis and many more and this proves that the youngster has a lot to offer to the world. He’s definitely like to be one of the hottest coming up in the next few years and will be another leading figure very soon.
