Q1. We heard your new track “Sound The Alarm”. Can you tell us more about your new track?

The guys of Wolfpack and I are friends for a very long time already. In January 2015 we released a big collab together called Wallcreeper. We always wanted to do a follow-up of that song, but it never happened.

Until a few months ago. We started working on something new. After weeks of sending the project file back and forth we finally finished it, but a catchy vocal was necessary. Richie Loop took care of that and ''Sound The Alarm'' was born. A huge floorfiller. I'm super happy with the result and I can't wait to play it all around the world soon.

Q2. How is 2020 for you so far? Please let us know if there was any change in your artist life after the outbreak of COVID-19.

Of course for me and all the other DJ's all around the world we have not be able to perform. My last performance was on New Year’s Eve and I miss being on stage very much. Hopefully everything will be back to normal as soon as possible, because performing is a huge part of me. It makes me happy and I feel like I'm born for it.

It's hard to look at the bright side of this whole situation, but I tried to.

I've been very productive in the studio and I finished loads and loads of new songs. So, again, hopefully everything will be back to normal soon, so I will start touring again and spoil the party people with all the new music I've been working on.

Q3. Why is your artist name “Jimmy Clash”? Please tell us about your unknown story.

While other DJ's have fancy stories about how they came up with their artist name, I don't really have one. Previously, before Jimmy Clash, I had another artist name where I wasn't happy with. So a friend of me and I started brainstorming about a new one. My first name is Jimmy, and we came up with ''Clash'' after it. I thought it sounded cool and decided to proceed my career with that name. Sounds international and catchy.

Q4. What would fans be surprised to learn about “Jimmy Clash”?

November 2017 I had my first ever performance in Tokyo, Japan. Before the performance the crew from the club took us to a restaurant where we ate Japanese BBQ. From that moment I've fallen in love with the Japanese cuisine. One of the many things of Japan why I always look forward to be back again.

Q5. What should we be expecting from “Jimmy Clash” in the near future?

Of course I just released my new track ''Sound the Alarm'' together with Wolfpack and Richie Loop. A song I'm very happy and excited about. As I mentioned I've been very productive the past few months, so there's lots and lots of new music on the way. Looking forward to unleash it all.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Japan always feels like a second home to me. The people are super friendly and the country has a huge hospitality. The times that I performed in Tokyo were unforgettable. Being part of Ultra Japan was a huge highlight in my career. The people in Japan definitely know how to party.. I can't wait to be back soon!
