Q1. We’re glad to interview with you! How has this year been treating you so far?

Hello, thank you very much for having us today.  Life is good so far this year.  Had some time off to spend with the family.  Also we have been spending a lot of time at in the studio working on some new music.  Really excited things coming up! 

Q2. Please talk to us about your new album ‘Where We Start’ and the inspiration behind it. 

The whole concept of the album was that we are at a new starting point in our life with our child.  Being a parent, this was something that was very new and special for us and in this album we wanted to capture and express our different emotional moments we experienced as a parent. Raising our child was the core inspiration behind this album.  

Q3. Which track from the album is your favourite?

Where We Start and Neo.  We have been playing these two a lot lately!  

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Balthazar & JackRock - Nymph

DRUNKEN KONG & Teenage Mutants - Tokyo

Both these tracks we feel fit in our recent sets very well.  The melodic elements and the groove to the tracks are something that works well to get the energy on the dancefloor.  

Q5. What's coming from Drunken Kong in the coming months?

We are working on some tours now.  As for the release, of course our album!  We also have a collaboration EP with Misstress Barbara coming out in spring.  We are very excited for these releases!
