Q1. We’re so glad you come back to Japan for EDC Japan! Do you still remember how was playing in Japan for the first time? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Is there something within your expectation in Japan?

Playing in Japan has always been amazing and of course I have a lot of great memories.

The passion and drive of the Japanese audience is very special. I remember the last time I played at ageHa in Tokyo, it was such an emotional experience because it was just after I got married and everyone was holding up signs congratulating me….

Q2. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why? Are you going to play them in EDC Japan?

I just released my latest album 4 months ago so I will play “Music Rescues Me” and I am also always asked via social media to play some of my other classics.

Q3. Please talk to us about your latest album Music Rescues Me and the inspiration behind it.

To me music has the ability to influence emotions and therefore how you feel. And life in general is my biggest inspiration, everything I see and experience somehow ends up in my music.

Q4. You are headlining SHINE Ibiza throughout the upcoming summer, the 2nd season of the residency. Tell us about the 1st year of the residency and what you are most excited about the second time around.

It is a great honor to be part as resident at SHINE Ibiza. Its a new and fresh concept from music lovers for music lovers… what matters is our sound and what we love and that is the focus of it. 2018 was a great first year and I am sure there will be many more.

Q5. Who are some of your favorite trance DJs/producers at the moment?

I am a big fan of colleagues who have there own unique drive to their music. Someone like Jordan Suckley or Alex M.O.R.P.H., Aly & Fila are always on top of my list.

Q6. Do you plan on releasing anymore music in 2019?

Yes, I am in the middle of producing my next album, so maybe I will be playing some of it during my set in Tokyo..

Q7. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I just would like to say thank you for all the support through all the years and it is an honor to come back and play for you.
