Q1. We’re so glad you come back to Tokyo on April 6! Do you still remember how was playing in Japan for the first time? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Is there something within your expectation in Japan?

Oh wow, I’m really looking forward to coming back to Japan to play in Tokyo for you guys! I’ve played in Japan twice before and both shows were absolutely amazing. The first time I came to Japan to DJ was for an anniversary show in a small club which was sold out. I remember the crowd being really energetic and the sushi being incredible! The second and most recent time I came was in December 2017 for Spinnin' Sessions with Mike Williams and that was a really crazy show. To be honest, I’m just really in love with Japanese culture and I can’t wait to be back. I’m staying for a couple of days so hopefully I’ll get to explore a bit too!

Q2. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why? Are you going to play them on April 6?

I’m actually just about to release a brand new single on Spinnin’ called ‘Off The Grid’ which I produced together with the amazing vocalist Amba Shepherd. It’s a brand new EDX original and I can’t wait for you all to hear it. There are so many other EDX tracks which I will obviously play, but if I was to pick a track not from my own repertoire, it would have to be ‘Breathe' by Camelphat & Cristoph.

Q3. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

So my latest release is a track called 'Who Cares', which is an original EDX vocal single. It was released back in January 2019 with Spinnin’ Deep and it’s been getting amazing feedback from my radio show and my DJ sets all over the world. I released lots of club-driven records in 2018 so I wanted to mix it up this year with some more vocal inspired tracks. ‘Who Cares’ is such a fresh track with a really unique sound and it’s another one that will definitely feature in my Tokyo performance. It works so well on the dance floor!

Q4. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

So there’s the new single ‘Off The Grid’ with Amba Shepherd which I just mentioned - that’s being released at the end of April, which I’m very excited about. Apart from that, I’m working on some really cool new remixes, which I’ll share very soon on my socials, so make sure you keep up to date! I’m also working on some more original club tracks for the Ibiza season, so there’s lots going on!

Q5. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I can’t wait to come back and play for one of the coolest crowds in the world!
