Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

My latest big release is “Eyes Don’t Lie”. A North American commercial radio release, featuring and inspired by the absolutely gorgeous vocals from Hawaiian- Canadian Trop Pop artist Hanablu with radio and club version. After hearing her voice the production of the track came naturally. When people experience “Eye's Don't  Lie” I believe they get that “Summer Vibe”.

The “club mix” has brash percussive rhythms, atonal syncopations, and flashy big synth riffs to appease large mainstage crowd punters. 'Eyes Don't Lie' radio edit drips with topical notes extracted from the essence of a summer vibe.

It’s been played all over Chinese Internet and Canadian Radio including Toronto's biggest Dance station Z1035.  “Eye's don't Lie” featured on the “Drive at 5” by DJ Danny D.

Q2. How is this track special compare to other tracks you’ve released throughout the career?

“Eyes Don’t Lie” is special because it’s the first time I have released something in the100bpm range, I have been more consistent in the 128 bpm range, house music/EDM etc. This track has a beautiful, relaxing yet fun, commercial feel with a strong club version.  My previous tracks were more aggressive, party freak, high energy, so it’s a big step for me and I'm very proud of the end result.  I believe it's one of the best releases to date.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

I always play “Waiting For Love” and  “my special edition” recently, because I really love Avicii, and so are my listeners. The original “Waiting for love” great track, I really enjoy this record. “My Special Edition” has both singing part and high energy, it’s a very strong track and I can’t wait to play it in Japan.

Q4. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

My first impression to Japan I think is the politeness, like everybody there is just so polite and nice to you. Well, the most impressive experience is gotta be how good the Ramen is and how good the “Karaagei”(Fried Chicken) is, I really like eating good food, and they are way out of my expectation.

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

Yes! My current project is called “Wasted” FEAT DF, it’s a beautiful male vocal, when I first listen to it I immediately envisioned a “Swedish house mafia” feel, consistent with other legendary EDM progressive house artists, that was my vision for it. It’s such a great track,  could be my STRONGEST release.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Hi people in Japan, I just can’t wait to perform for you. I am committed to giving you a night to remember. You will get ALL I have and we will ALL leave the night better than when we came.
