Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.
This latest release is a remix by Thomas Feelman & STV. Early last year, while we were in France for a show, we met up with Thomas. He played us this remix that he and STV had done and we thought it sounded great. Steve Angello began to road test the single over the summer at some high profile festivals. The reactions have been great from the crowds and finally it’s now out for fans and DJ’s to play. If you haven’t heard it yet, check it out. It’s a banger!
“White Label” is a special track to us. It began as an emotional instrumental that we sent over to Steve Angello literally minutes before boarding his plane to get to his Tomorrowland show. After listening to the single, he called us and said that he loved it and was going to play it at the Festival but that he thought it would sound amazing with something like “Is This Love” vocal on it. By the time he reached the hotel we had sent the vocal version. He didn’t have much time and downloaded it, left the hotel and jumped on stage and played it. We were in the studio watching the live stream and we knew we had something special when the crowd started going insane and singing along to the words. Watching Steve put his hand to his heart while singing the lyrics and telling the crowd over the break that it’s all about love, was all we needed to see. We knew it was a hit right there. One of the best experiences in our lives.
Q2. What is your New Year’s resolution?
For 2019, to work as hard as we can to release more music to our fans and to play as many shows and festivals around the world.
Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?
Pick 1 is always our original of “White Label – Is This Love”. It’s one of the most emotional tracks we have people around the world instantly know the lyrics and the crowds absolutely go mental at the drop. Can never go wrong playing it.
Pick 2 is our upcoming release with Steve Angello which is an ID but the internet has adopted the name “All About Love”. It’s the ultimate feel good track that you want to end a festival with. Extremely emotional, melodic and has energy in all the right places to warm your heart. Always go off!
Q4. What do you feel has been your biggest achievement?
To have gained the respect and support of Steve Angello and Size Records, as artists and human beings. Without the proper support it’s extremely hard to reach crowds around the world. We have been blessed with this relationship from the start and want to keep building on it for the fans to get more music. In terms of performance, playing EDP beach party in Portugal to thousands of fans has been our biggest show to date.
Q5. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.
Japan will always have a special place in our hearts. Osaka was our very first show. We sold it out and the fans that showed up from all over Japan still blow our minds. You truly are the best fans in the world. We just want to say that we respect & love you!
