Q1. Please talk to us about your debut LP Transmission and the inspiration behind it.

I am very proud of this album. It's my first one, and it took me about a year to complete it, so it's a bit like a baby :) My inspiration was that Transmission tells a story; my techno story. I chose to make an album which would represent me a hundred per cent, without limiting myself or setting boundaries at all.

Q2. How does this release compare to your other releases throughout your career and what are your favourite tracks on the LP?

The difference is that Transmission took a year to complete and that it was a continuous process. I had a global vision and certain ideas in mind, which I spread out all over the album. Whereas my previous EPs were more set-up in a certain period of time and a certain mindset. As for the tracks, it's very difficult to pick some in particular. Transmission is a whole entity...

Q3. Please select 1 or 2 must play tracks that feature heavily in your recent sets and state why?

Ikat - Amotik - Amotik

Skittish - Robert S (PT) - Odd Recordings

It's such a pleasure for me to include these tracks in my sets. I find them very efficient, and the crowd loves them.

Q4. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

My first impression of Japan was that it was beyond my expectations in terms of beauty, culture, everything! And so different, in a positive way, from what I know.

Q5. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I am very honoured to play in Japan and very excited to see you soon!
