Q1. We’re glad to interview with you! How has this summer been so far?

Thank you for this opportunity! This summer has been great. Besides being very busy in the studio working on my new album 'Command & Conquer,' I have performed in front of very dedicated fans at many great events around the world. I also had the possibility to play a lot of new material throughout the summer which was awesome.

Q2. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

My new album 'Command & Conquer' will be released on the 2nd of November, 2018. I have gained inspiration from my previous albums and I produced ‘Command & Conquer’ in a personal and free manner.

Besides my album, I have created several collabs with artists outside the Hard Dance Scene, including example Carnage, Yellow Claw and Moksi. Doing such crossovers is great, because it pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me a boost of fresh inspiration, whilst still maintaining the credible Radical sound.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

“America” – The crowd enjoys this track and can ‘sing’ along with the lyrics!

The title track of my new album: “Command and Conquer” gives a special feeling to play, because of the new album and it is also the anthem of my event on the 3rd of November.

Q4. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

I have visited and played in Osaka at Club Joule. It’s nice to see how the Japanese crowd specifically comes to see and hear my set. They give everything on the dance-floor, which also gives me energy! I also really appreciate the cultural aspect they have regarding the respect of elderly people. Of course as I am very tall, walking through the city was a unique experience for me, and also the Japanese people.

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

As I mentioned, my own event and the new album are right around the corner. It’s a huge honor to host my own solo event for 12,000 people in one venue with spectacular opening shows. This is a true gift for me from my dedicated fans!

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

It is very nice to see that there is a Hardstyle crowd in Japan. I hope to see you soon at the next Radical Redemption experience!
