Q1. We’re glad to interview with you! How has your summer been so far?

Hello! The pleasure is mine. My summer has been very busy so far. I’ve played in lots of festivals and clubs, notably the Resistance stage at Ultra Music festival in Singapore, Beijing and Seoul, as well as Pyramid at Amnesia Ibiza, Sziget festival, Mysteryland … Also, I did a summer tour in the USA with my label Form Music; we organized a bunch of label nights in Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas and so on. My good friend Julian Jeweil was with me so we had lots of fun.

Q2. How was your ULTRA JAPAN 2018?

Amazing. I’m in love with Japan’s culture and uniqueness so it’s always amazing to perform there. Also, the Resistance crew is one of the most professional in the world, and the Japanese crowd is incredibly up-to-date and knowledgeable so it’s a match made in Heaven.

Q3. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

The first time I came, I was impressed by the culture difference and i actually liked it a lot. Everything was so new and exciting! After Tokyo, I went to Kyoto and I discovered traditional Japan there. Beautiful. Honestly I love everything about this country.

Q4. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

My latest release is a collaboration with my Italian DJ/producer buddy Stefano Kosa, “Synaptic” EP on Deeperfect, which was released very recently. The inspiration behind it was my good relationship with Stefano, which we developed on social media and continued through music. I’ve got another EP coming up soon on Pig & Dan’s label Elevate but I can’t tell you more for now.

Q5. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Obviously, “Synaptic” (original mix) because it’s fresh and crispy, and super-efficient on the dancefloor! Also, on Form Music, “Elements” by Bulgarian DJ & producer Gallya – she’s one of the hottest rising talents in Europe! I’d also mention “La Burbuja” (Form Music) by Colombian super-talented combo JuanDDD & Celic.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I feel very blessed and honored to play in Japan. I really look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Come over and say hi!
