Q1. We’re glad to interview with you! How has this year been so far?

I'm having a great year so far, with lots of releases and cool gigs. I just came back from Split, Croatia to perform at Ultra Europe for the second year in a row. I had a really good time over there.

Q2. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

We just released a new song called 'My Name'. It's a collaboration between me, South Korean artist DJ H.One (Monsta X) and Dutch singer/songwriter Talksick.

I ran into H.One on Ultra Korea when I was performing there. He had to play there as well. We exchanged phone numbers and send each other new music. We decided to combine forces and this is basically how 'My Name' is born. Eventually we received the amazing vocals by Talksick and the track was finished.

The lyrics are pretty funny actually. It's about a boy who is trying to get attention from a girl, but the girl is telling him ''Keep on hoping babe but you won't know my name''. Pretty rude, but funny and catchy. I'm really happy with this record, and I can't wait to hear your reactions.

Q3. How is this track special compare to other tracks you’ve released in the last months?

Because this song is more radio orientated than my previous tracks. Which means a bigger audience can listen to it. I like to entertain as much as possible people with my music. Hopefully this track will make that happen, and put smiles on people faces. Eventually that's my main goal; making people happy and have a great time.

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

A few months ago I released a monster collab with KURA. The track is called 'Young & Invincible' and it's going off in all of my sets. You should definitely check this one out.

When I'm not on the stage, performing, I'm in my studio to create new music for coming shows and tours. Performing in front of people really gives me motivation and also inspiration to produce new music. This is really important for a musician ofcourse.

That's why I've been also testing out a lot of new stuff recently. Lots and lots of new music is finished and I can't wait to show the world.

The best feeling a dance producer can have is seeing people go crazy on your selfmade songs. It's always a big compliment when such things happen. I've been playing this new 'ID' in all off my latest sets, unfortunately I can't tell the name yet, but you will hear about it very soon.

Q5. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

Before I went to Japan, I've heard many stories about how beautiful Japan and Tokyo are, and they were right. Tokyo is one of my favorite cities. I'm always super excited to go back. The last time I performed in Tokyo, many fans came down to experience my performance. One of the many things I love about my job is interacting with fans. After the show we took pics and they made some flags and posters with my face and name on it. Things like this really warm my heart.

Q6. What big festivals/clubs do you will be playing next?

At the end of July me and my MC Tricky Gullivan are leaving to China to do a huge China tour. We will travel a lot and have many gigs. I'm really looking forward to this. After that more festivals and club gigs will follow. I cannot say a lot about it but perhaps you will see me soon in Japan!

Q7. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

I can't wait to be back in your beautiful country. Right now I'm making full days in the studio to provide new music I can play the next time I visit you. Which is very soon. Prepare, huge news is coming.

Thank you guys for having me, Jimmy Clash signing out.
