“BOOM”, a collaboration with DJ MAG TOP 100 DJs 2017 #5 Tiësto was an ideal way to receive attention from the entire world. All eyes are now on the American DJ/Producer duo Sevenn. “BOOM” ranked into the Billboard chart as #14 and the music video is player over 600k throughout the world. And now, they have released their new track “It’s Always You” with a surprising shout out to the Japanese fans.

Q1. How has this year been so far?

Absolutely nuts! We’ve already played every continent this year and we’re heading out in 2 weeks to do it again. Making music on the road has been an interesting and rewarding process; with every new culture we get to know, it feels like we’re adding richer character to ourselves and our music.

Q2. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

Our latest release « It’s Always You » just kinda happened, it’s one of those songs you write that you feel like you just have to get out there. Everything was recorded on the road (most of the vocals and all of the guitar in hotel rooms) which gave it a road trip/moving kinda vibe to it.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Our VIP Version of our track « BYOB » and our upcoming release « Hello Moto » are absolute bangers! Those two tracks seem to fit in ever set everywhere flawlessly.

Q4. What was your best gig so far and what memories you have on this gig?

We played « villa mix festival » in brazil for around 80,000 people! Brazilians are already famous for their energy, you can imagine thousands of them jumping to your music.

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

We have some massive collabs coming out soon, not to mention some wild and whacky ventures into trap/hip hop.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

On our way to Australia we purposefully got a flight with a 12 hour layover so we could explore Tokyo and eat, ha! We’re in love with Japanese culture and cant wait to play in Japan, an absolute dream come true.

Up and rising duo will be landing and performing at Best of Japan 2018 #4 ELE TOKYO this weekend. Their collaboration with the legend Tiësto was definitely a “Boom”. Tune in to their new release “It’s Always You” and catch them performing at ELE TOKYO this weekend.
