Q1. How has this year been so far? What’s your summer schedule?

This year has been great! I already did so many cool shows, also been to Japan! Can’t wait for what’s coming up.

Q2. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

My latest release ‘Give It Up’ was a track that I made a year ago in Ibiza together with 2 amazing sing- and songwriters Stevie Appleton and A*M*E. We had an amazing time and eventually we came up with this song. I was super happy I could finally release it this year.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Antoine Delvig - Jack That Body, such an energetic track!

Brooks - Lynx, I have a really cool mashup of this one, always a good one to play!

Q4. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

I loved Japan. Tokyo is such an amazing city. The people are so kind and there are so many things to do and see. I’ve been to Japan once when I was young, I don’t remember a lot of it but to be back felt really good.

Q5. Who do you think is breaking through at the minute? Which artists should we be keeping an eye on?

There are so many great talents at this moment. Brooks, Mesto, Dastic and so many others are killing it!

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Konnichiwa Japan! I hope to be back really soon in your country. And I hope to see you there. Lot’s of love, Mike

Mike Williams performed his first ever show in Japan in Tokyo during Spinnin’ Sessions at TDME last winter and connected with Japanese fans straight away. At the age of 22 and already performing for EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and even hosting his own radio show “Mike Williams on Track” is more than we could wish for. Stay tune to his new release “Give It Up”.
