A Swedish Trio, Brohug are one of those constant hit makers that gets supported by DJ MAG TOP 100 DJS including the French DJ Snake, Diplo, Tchami, Oliver Helens, Kaskade and so on. With that in mind, there is no surprise that they will be performing at Tomorrowland, Summerburst, Lollapalooza and other big renowned festivals this summer. They have just come up with their new release “Charlie”.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

We took things back a little with “Charlie”. The breakdown has its influences from classic disco 70s music, and we tried out probably 5 different drops for it but none of them felt right. Then we gave it one more try with an old school bass line, tried it out at a club the same day, and it sounded so good.

Q2. How is this track special compared to other tracks you’ve released throughout your career?

It feels a bit more melodic than our other music, but still has that Brohug vibe to it.

Q3. How has this year been so far?

Really good. We have done so many great shows in all these different countries and managed to make banging music while being on the road.

Q4. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Our own songs, “Charlie” and of course our biggest song “If I’m Wrong”.

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

We have so many projects but most of them are secret. Collabs, big singles, it’s all coming together this year.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

We can’t wait to go to Japan! It’s the country we are looking forward to the most!

The new release “Charlie” is yet again released from Tiesto’s Musical Freedom and that already shows their worth and talent as DJ/Producers. Being supported by Tiesto himself and other big names is special and they have helped them get to the place they are today performing for big festivals etc. Hopefully, we can see them perform in Japan soon but in meanwhile, check out their new release “Charlie”.
