Jordan Jay, another Dutch DJ/producer up and coming in the scene is already receiving support from the top artists Martin Garrix, Fedde Le Grand, Nicky Romero, David Guetta, Thomas Gold, Ummet Ozcan. His debut release “Haze” was from Armada Music and the track showed the world how he’s capable of becoming the next rising talent. Let’s figure out about his new release “Treat You Right”.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

The is comprised of several projects that didn’t quite make the cut. I took the best stuff from every project and it became “Treat You Right”.

Q2. How is this track special compared to other tracks you’ve released throughout the career?

TYR really stands for perseverance. I was really struggling to create something that I was satisfied with (call it a semi-writers block). After I thought I had wasted my time making these tracks that I didn't quite feel were representative of my ability, I took the best bits of a lot of projects I had going on at the time, and put them all together to create Treat You Right. With other tracks in my career I've not had an emotional process like this.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Blinders - Okami

This tune is just insane. Makes everyone go wild!

Any remix/mashup of God's Plan by Drake works just so well!

Q4. What was your best gig so far and what memories do you have from this gig?

StudentSounds - I really loved this because it was in the then newly renovated 013 in Tilburg, the Netherlands. There were about 3000 people there and the atmosphere was amazing.

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

I can't really say too much about this, but I have some big tracks coming up including collaborations with some great names in the scene! Most recently signed a track on my dream label. You'll see more specific news up shortly!

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Hope to tour in Japan and see you all very soon!

His supporting artists proves his worth in the scene and how he’s making a step closer to these dream artists. His release from last year “Another Day“ was played by Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero during their tours and it’s great to see the Dutch team giving support to their future talents. He’ll soon be dropping another collaboration with big names but first stay tuned to his new release “Treat You Right”.
