Born in 2009, Australian brother Duo, Bombs Away is the hottest artist whose first release “Big Booty Bitches” came out as 3rd place on Beatport and 3 million view on youtube. If you are music lover, you must have listened their song “Supra Soaker” and “Party Bass” which hit international top charts. DJ MAG JAPAN have chance to interview them exclusively and ask about their latest release and next projects.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

Thanks very much guys! We like to write songs that speak to experiences we've all had, so let you down really speaks to a lot of people without being too obvious, one of our favorite things is hearing back from people once our songs are out letting us know they've helped get through some tough times and see the bright side, but also been there when they're doing great!

Bombs Away – Let You Down

Q2. How is this track special compare to other tracks you’ve released throughout the career?

We’ve previously gone for a more club vibe with a little bit more of a party element, whereas Let You Down was so fun to write and do the music video for because it came together so well, it just felt ‘right’  Parker Rose from Sunset City was super easy to work with and amazingly talented, both being from the same place in Australia made getting together write and record the track quite fun.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

Right now anything from Komes or Brooks, they are both really nailing their sound right now, slightly different vibes but they go well in every set, Kome’s new one ‘Powerful Luv’ is killing it right now.

Q4. What was your first impression of Japan? What was the most surprising or impressive experience? Something within your expectation?

Japan was absolutely amazing, we were only able to stay one week but experienced so much! We need to come back in winter next time as well!

Q5. Any exciting new projects coming up that you can share with us?

Right now the album has taken so much of our life writing and producing, that it’s great finally being able to tour it and see people react to the songs in real life, it’s amazing so that’s our project right now, experiencing how the FRAGMENTS album and all the singles go.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Sugu ni o ai shitai! We cant wait to come back!
