We all know the song “Bad” produced by top-notch world biggest famous DJs, David Guetta and Martin Garix and can not forget the powerful vocal from Dutch singer song writer VASSY. All artists who VASSY have collaborated with are DJ MAG TOP 100 DJs and her collaboration song “Secrets” with Tiësto and KSHMR is now still known as Legendary song in this industry. DJ MAG Japan will introduce her new release and future plan.
Q1. Please elaborate on your latest collaboration "Somebody New" with Sultan + Shepard and inspirations behind it.
Wanted to write a tune that was difference for the fans to experience and vibe to thats different to my other releases. Love the guys they are so talented and we had chemistry in the studio from the very beginning when we worked on BAD a song that needed up being #1 in over 30 countries around the world with David Guetta and going multi platinum several times... so we figured Ummmm maybe we should get in the studio again LOL
Q2. Is "Somebody New" somehow special compared to your previous releases?
YES its written about some real emotions that are complicated and hard to talk about and expose my vulnerable side which dont always want to do.
Q3. You have also recently worked with Afrojack on "Lost", was the producion process different?
Yes because we worked on it mostly over the internet going back and forth on files due to travel and geographical logistics...but it was fun and we just performed ait at ULTRA20 and it was Epic!! VASSY x Afrojack ULTRA.
Q4. Are there any artists in particular you would like to collaborate with this year?
SO many talented people I am working with already dont have to be a famous name... but if i had to chose one its still bugging me i dont have one w Calvin Harris ;-)
Q5. What is the most appropriable skill that you have learned outside of music business that helps you in the industry and why?
To always stick to plan A, To be honest with people respectfully so, to cultivate relationships and to never let a rejection get in your way but simply see it as a redirection ...a step closer to your dreams..

Almost all songs which VASSY have released hit No 1 in international top chart or broke several records and now all world top DJs send request to collaborate with her. There is no denying to say that VASSY is one the essential artist in Dance Music Scene. So, We are now looking forward to see her next collaboration.
