Up-and-coming electro/future house artist Brooks drops Like I Do, an collaboration of epic proportions alongside none other than fellow kings of dance music, David Guetta and Martin Garrix. Featuring a salacious blend of all three producers’ signature sounds, this uplifting and super-catchy cut is set to dominate both airwaves and dancefloors alike.

Like I Do features hi-pitched robotic vocals, clean and edgy lead saw-synths, and a pounding drum beat. With the amount of variation used, and the beautifully complex chord progression, this track is set to be a chart topper.

Brooks has been making serious waves in the electronic scene, partially thanks to his previous releases Boomerang and Byte alongside Martin Garrix (as GRX). He was recently invited to give a 40-minute, in-depth production tutorial on Boomerang at Dancefair. Brooks and Garrix’ friendship has flourished and, off the back of their success, it only makes sense they draft in David Guetta to complete the perfect trio of dancefloor dominators. 

Having matched the production strength and stamina of dance music’s biggest names, watch out for Brooks in 2018 as he gears up to revolutionise the classic big-room sound.

Q1. Congratulations on your "Like I Do" release. Can you tell us more about it?

Thanks! It all started with an idea that David had - he had held on to it for a while, waiting for the right time to make it into a full track! He sent it to Martin and me, and we both loved it! From then on, the three of us worked on it until the first version was finished. We all tested it at our live shows, and Guetta even premiered it on his tour. Soon after that, the final version was ready for release!

Q2. How was working with David Guetta & Martin Garrix? Any behind the scene stories?

Funnily enough, the three of us never met in person while putting this track together! As I said; David was busy with his arena tour and Martin was touring Asia so we pretty much entirely worked through facetime and email! After the release, we all live-chatted on Instagram, and then David invited me to support him on a couple of his Ibiza shows this summer. That’ll be the first time I actually meet him in person. If any crazy stuff goes down while we're there, I'll let you guys know!

What’s up guys! I can't wait to play in Tokyo on April the 13th! I’ve heard so many good stories about your city, so it’ll definitely be a night to remember. And plus, it's my birthday April the 14th so I'm actually turning 23 during my set. Can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
