Dutch House and Electronic music Duo, Zonderling is known as producer of “Crazy” which is collaborated with DJ MAG 2017 No, 27 DJ Lost Frequencies. The song still hit Belgium and Germany hit chart and have seen 30 million streaming on Spotify. The top notch talented dutch duo gave us chance to interveiw. Let us share about their new release and future plan.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

We met Kye Sones briefly at the Lost Frequencies party at ADE where he performed a track with Felix on stage. We introduced ourselves and asked if he was also writing songs, or just a good vocalist. It turned out he does both! Kye sent us a selection of his vocal demos and we got really excited about the Nightcall idea. In the studio the idea for a triplet backing track soon popped up and it remained as, probably, the most vibe determining element in the track. After that it came down to fine-tuning the vocals and other musical elements.

Q2. How is this track special compare to other tracks you’ve released throughout the career?

We haven't ever released a solo full-vocal "radio" track before ("Crazy" was a collaboration with Lost Frequencies), so that alone makes it special for us. It's slower than most of our music, it has a triplet main groove and it has a different kind of sonic impact.

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must plays in your recent sets and why?

First one would be, without a doubt, Crazy, our collaboration with Lost Frequencies. That track did so much for our career. It's incredible to see where the record is still going in terms of plays, radio and support. Opened a lot of new doors. A great sing a long song as well during shows which makes it a special moment. The other one is of course, Tunnel Vision. Our first real club hit and song that got us really noticed. Rocks crowds everywhere each and every time. It's such a weird and typical song but there's something catchy about it that works. The DJ support on that one is still amazing.

Q4. Are there any artists in particular you would love to collab with this year?

Not anyone in particular. There are plenty of artist who we can see ourselves collaborating with, but it really depends on what kind of ideas we can exchange.

Q5. Can you give some advice for the amateur DJs. How did you acquire your DJ skills during you amateur years?

Most important for me (Jaap) was, and still is, that I do things that I personally like and only that. I started DJ'ing around 17 years ago on vinyl in my bedroom just as a hobby and it's crazy for me to realise that I now play from Miami to Mongolia and everywhere in between. I started out at local parties, entered a few DJ contests and the ball kept rolling from that. My advice would be; do what you like and do it your way and not for fame or anything. I know it sounds cliche but that's the only thing that will keep you happy in the end. Also, try and be patient and remember to be humble and grateful about what you get to do, it's a pretty special thing.

Q6. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

We've heard very good stories about Japan from our colleagues and can't wait to go there for the first time and meet our fans! Keep an eye on our socials to see when and when that will be and hope to see you then!

They talked to us that they will definitely be busy in this year. We will see them performing at bit festival and club with their addictive sound in this summer season. We can not see anything expect them with high quality collaboration and their new release and performance in the future.
