Spanish DJ/producer Danny Avila is gearing up for his biggest year yet. That’s saying something, as the 22-year-old has already make a huge mark on the electronic music scene to date, slotting in at no. 52 in the Top 100 DJ’s of 2017 poll – DJ Mag’s highest re-entry of the year. Avila is pulling out the big guns for his first release of 2018, announcing an exclusive multi-single deal with B1 Recordings / Sony Music Spain for huge new release Too Good To Be True.

Joining Danny Avila on Too Good To Be True are global superstars The Vamps – whose vocal talents have skyrocketed them in to the limelight since the band first formed in 2011. Having achieved worldwide fame, The Vamps are understandably selective when it comes to choosing musical partners to work with. This is where Danny’s production talent really steps to the fore, as the artists combine for the first time. Add US rap sensation Machine Gun Kelly in to the mix and the recipe for the perfect dance track is complete. This is one colossal collaboration that goes beyond expectations!

A blend of Danny’s meticulous, upbeat production with The Vamps’ trademark catchy vocals makes Too Good To Be True the ultimate pop-dance track – perfect when you need an escape from reality. With Machine Gun Kelly switching up the beat with his masterful lyrics, it’s too easy to lose yourself in the uplifting world of Too Good To Be True.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

This is the very first single as part of my new international deal with SONY Music Spain! I've been sitting on this news forever and have honestly been bursting to tell everyone - so glad the secret's finally out! We wanted to create something uplifting, almost euphoric, in the light of so many negative events in the world right now. It's a pretty accurate blend of all of our varying sounds, paired with some solid dancefloor potential that I really wanted to make a leading element on this track. I think we've found a nice balance.

Q2. How was working with The Vamps and Machine Gun Kelly? Any behind the scene stories?

I'm proud to have worked with such fantastic artists for this one. The work flow has been steady and focused and we really got the chance to make the best of this collaboration.

Sure, there’s always some 'get to know' time in the beginning and it’s rather difficult be really sure if the rest of the artists really like your ideas and your input! But in this case, it was really easy to sync our ideas of the track and all the parts fit together nicely right from the start.

Q3. Please leave a message for your fans in Japan.

Thank you guys for being some of my biggest supporters! I support you all as much as you support me. Thank you for everything - I'll never stop working and I'll never stop creating for you.
