Recently, Major Levi has hugely gained attention from representatives in this industry and supported by British-born super trance music star Above & Beyond. After he joined Above & Beyond’s label “Anjunabeats” and released “Lital”, He has continuously polished his gemstone and nowadays his songs were slid into Top hit charts. Major Levi shared his latest release and resolution of 2018 with us.

Q1. Please talk to us about your latest release and the inspiration behind it.

A lot of people don't know, but I'm a huge fan of everything Space, I'm sure some of my fans figured it out with previous titles of my tracks, Juno was born during the recent SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch that occurred above the Los Angeles skies, also affiliated with NASA's Juno Spacecraft. Funnily enough, since there's no Atmosphere in space there's no way for sound to travel, which makes it completely silent, I decided to express my excitement and fascination to Space and our gigantic universe with music, I'm proud of this record and hoping it'll give people this Balearic feeling I've had while making it

Q2. What are your resolutions for 2018? 

My plans are to tour a lot and express my sound around the globe, release a lot of music and maybe even (finally) finish an album. we're just getting started!

Q3. Can you pick 1 or 2 must play in your recent sets and why?

I would definitely go for my 2 latest releases on Armada, 'Aurora' for the melodic excitement and 'Juno' for the climax and build up, they go well hand-in-hand and I think it'll show on the dancefloor as well, I mostly try and play like 90% of my own records.

Q4. Are there any artists, in particular, you would love to collab with this year?

Definitely, I'd love to do some work with legends like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, and Above & Beyond, always been a big fan and those guys supported me a lot over the years, it would only be fair to want to make some magic together! 

Q5. How do you learn to create tracks and the production process itself?

My workflow is very strange, I usually start with drums and bass before I even have a main theme/idea for my track, It's something I got used to working with over the years, a lot of producers find it strange, but It worked for me all the time, also, I'm the type of producer that If I end up finding myself working on a track for over 2 weeks, I know its not good enough, I think what helps me a lot with the process is knowing my tools, I find it a blessing to be able to translate whatever's going on in my brain into the computer and make it a musical piece.
